Looking ahead through 2018

For the 2018 Highpointeering season, we will be introducing the following list of seven brand new award categories:

  • Highpointeering Club of the Year
  • Highpointeering Guide of the Year
  • Highpointeering Event of the Year
  • Most-visited Location of the Year
  • Best-rated Location of the Year
  • Highpointeering Book of the Year
  • Highpointeering Map of the Year

More details of these award categories will be announced in the coming weeks.

If you would like to take part in any of our challenges, leagues and awards competitions in 2018, it is worth noting that you will need to have the Peakhunter app installed on your smartphone.

We will also be launching the test version of a new form which we hope will replace the Highpointeer Logsheet & Entry Form from 2019 onwards. This form will undergo full-scale trials during 2018. Your participation in these trials will be very much appreciated. Some of our new award categories will be based on the these trials. Further details will be announced in due course.

Congratulations to everyone who earned a High Point Ireland award in 2017. We look forward to seeing your names on the list again next year.

Good luck for 2018.

Happy Highpointeering!
